WELCOME
We are so excited to meet you! To help make your first visit an enjoyable and stress-free experience, we have laid out all of the basics below for you.
Mineral Neighborhood Christian Center is a casual, Christ centered environment where everyone is welcome to worship and learn more about Christ. Come as you are – dress up or down – you’ll find us in our Sunday finest to flannel, slacks to jeans. We have one purpose – to know Jesus and make Jesus known.
For your first time visiting, here are a few things that you can expect:
A laid back atmosphere, when we say come as you are, we really mean it. Don’t worry about the clothes that you wear, just make sure you wear some and you will be welcomed.
A friendly group. We are a pretty close group of small town folks so don’t be alarmed if you get greeted with a hug by everyone and we treat you like family.
Here is a little heads up for how our services are laid out:
- 10:00 AM – Fellowship & Coffee. Enjoy a hot beverage, breakfast snacks and fellowship with our Church family.
- 10:30 AM – Meet & Greet. Say, “Hello!”, give a quick hug and reconnect with friends and family after a long week apart and make a new friend(s).
- 10:35 AM – Praise & Worship. We sing a mix of contemporary and traditional Christian music.
- 10:55 AM – Prayer Requests & Offering.
- 11:00 AM – Sermon. You can expect a challenging sermon that is easily understood by all. We have services for both adults and children (ages 5-12). You are welcome to stay with your child(ren) until they are comfortable or they are welcome to stay with your (activity baskets can be found at the Welcome Desk.)
A typical service will last about 75-90 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.
We hope this helps ease some of the apprehension that is sometimes felt by visiting a new church. We are excited that you are considering our church and can’t wait to meet you!
