Community is important, we have opportunities for all ages to connect with other believers and grow in your walk with Christ. Here are a few of the activities we are involved with and that you can get involved with too:

Backpack Program – This program currently provides over 100 participating students, ages 3-21, in the Morton School District (this includes kids from Mineral), with child-friendly foods that will sustain them until they return to school on Monday. This allows children, from low income families, to face weekends without anxiety wondering if they will have food to eat because they know there is a backpack waiting for them, on Friday, with foods easy enough for them to make for themselves.

Daily Bread – Daily Bread is the name of our Food Bank.  We are open every Wed. from 12:00 – 3:00.  You can learn more about our foodbank HERE.

Missions – Through partnerships with over 20 local and global missionaries, each of us can play a part in bringing help, hope and healing to our community and world.

Movie Nights / Family Fridays – The Last Friday of the month we offer family friendly, spiritually uplifting activities geared toward build relationships with our families, friends and community. These activities could be a movie night or game night or (once the weather is warmer) a barbeque or joining in with other community activities and events.

Opening Weekend of Fishing Season – Opening weekend of fishing season is a big event in Mineral.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD® – We look forward to our yearly participation with the Samaritan’s Purse project, “Operation Christmas Child”. We fill shoeboxes with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items which get delivered to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way.

Soup Night – (On Hold until Winter of 2024) During the winter we serve free soup, dessert, and coffee to the whole town.
